September 21&22 (travel)
We woke up in the morning feeling sad as it was our last day here in Australia. Dylan was the first to get up and he went outside and onto a walk. He said he saw a flock of geese leaving the land. He came back to see all of us gathering around Avery, ready to scare him out of bed because he was the last one to get up. We all shouted, "HAPPY BIRTH DAY." And he slept through that, so we pulled him out into the street and dumped water on him. We all showed him the cake that Dylan had gotten from his walk. Mason brought out from his bag a knee hockey game so that we could all play. It was a tight fit, but we made it work and for some reason Mason and Zach were shooting better than everyone else. Once we were done with knee hockey, we went to lunch at Orche Restraunt for some authentic Australian cuisine. The food there was ok, but we were all hesitant on what to eat because we had such a long plane ride that we didn't want to get sick.
After lunch we were on our way back to the RV when Avery saw a dog and it was all alone. From what Mason could tell, it was a Australian Shepherd. We all loved the dog, so we thought we would take it somewhere to get help and if we couldn't, we would find a way to take it home. We named the dog blue, because of his blue eyes, and took him with us in the RV. We went to the RV dealership and dropped off the RV where we herd a loud noise behind us shouting, “ROCKY!!!”. Then behind us a middle-aged woman and two kids were running at us full speed, which wasn’t that fast. We sadly gave the puppy over to nobody’s likening, accept Dylan’s who want to get rid of it because he didn’t know how we would take it home. Mason was most the saddest because when we saw the dog, it ran up to him.

To improve everybody's mood, we went out for ice cream, but came back with nothing because we got lost. We saw many buildings and Mason kept going on rants about how the two building styles didn’t mix. It was a mess and we learned never to let Mason decide where to go next. We came back to the airport and we all got our tickets and boarded the plane to fly our of Cairns, Australia.
While waiting for the game to start. We started up a “Clash Royal” tournament which was first one v. one, then the best player to the worst player chose who was on their team. Their had to be one team of three which they would just sub in with. The first tournament led to Dylan being first Zach being second Mason being third and Avery being fourth. Diego was very mad because his phone kept lagging out which was the only reason he got last. From there, the teams were Mason Dylan and Diego v. Zach and Avery. We did Dylan and Mason v. Zach and Avery. For the second game we did Mason and Diego vs Zach and Avery. For the last game it was Dylan and Diego v. Zach and Avery. The first game was a win for Mason and Dylan. The second game was a win for me and Zach. And the last game bugged out because the plane had started. We all then told stories about 9th grade, which seemed like so long ago. We then hit the hay and went to sleep which was easier for some than others. We woke up in Sydney, just an hour later and got onto the flight to go to San Fran.
We did played another game on “Rules of Survival” in which Diego was really good in. This time he wasn’tagging out, which helped him a lot.
We landed in Dallas and we all got items that we would give to each other at the end of the trip. We ended up in Raleigh and gave out all of our gifts. Everyone got the same thing. It was a mug that said a life. We all said the same thing, “I thought it was time to get you a life.”
