Why You Should go to Australia (Ethos, Pathos, Logos) Budget + Itinerary            I believe that anyone who loves having a good time and just want to get away from your life with a few friends, will have an amazing time on this trip to Australia, the land down under. You will learn many things and submerse yourself in a culture you aren’t usually in. This is also a cheap trip for  going half way around the world and spending two weeks in a foreign country in which you will do things that you have never done before(Logos) .  The highlights of the trip were places anyone could boast about including one of the most iconic buildings ever, the Sydney Opera House, and even the largest coral reef in the world, The Great Barrier Reef.  Another benefit of the wonderful country of Australia is the language. The language barrier between tourist and locals is often one of the most off-putting obstacles of going on a foreign trip.  Luckily, in Australia they speak English, but with

September 21&22 (travel)

We woke up in the morning feeling sad as it was our last day here in Australia. Dylan was the first to get up and he went outside and onto a walk. He said he saw a flock of geese leaving the land. He came back to see all of us gathering around Avery, ready to scare him out of bed because he was the last one to get up. We all shouted, "HAPPY BIRTH DAY." And he slept through that, so we pulled him out into the street and dumped water on him. We all showed him the cake that Dylan had gotten from his walk. Mason brought out from his bag a knee hockey game so that we could all play. It was a tight fit, but we made it work and for some reason Mason and Zach were shooting better than everyone else.    Once we were done with knee hockey, we went to lunch at Orche Restraunt for some authentic Australian cuisine. The food there was ok, but we were all hesitant on what to eat because we had such a long plane ride that we didn't want to get sick. After lunch we were on our

September 20 Townsville, Family and Community Day, and Travel to Cairns

We woke up after our tiring day of traveling to Townsville, and found a nearby breakfast place where Avery could quickly get us some food. After scarfing down our breakfast of pancakes, we set out to the Reef HQ aquarium. It took us roughly 20 minutes to arrive there from where we were, before we knew it, we were gazing at the towering building of Reef HQ. We paid for admission, and went inside. We were immediately met with the astounding sight of the aquariums filled with coral and fish living inside of those habitats. Mason eavesdropped on a tour group and reported to us that 1625 species of fish and 1400 coral reef species. However fish was a broad category, there were also mollusks, sea snakes, dolphins, sharks and more. After seeing all of the tanks that were available, we decided to eat a quick lunch at a hotel that is floating on the water. We got on a boat to take us the the hotel floating over the great barrier reef, also where we would eat lunch. The Four Seasons Hotel

September 19 Travel to Townsville and explore Great Barrier Reef

Great Barrier Reef (Environmental) Today we are traveling to Townsville and this city is known as the second capital of Queensland and has a population of about 190,000 people. There is a wide variety of freshwater parks and good amount of different animal species. Townsville is a  Burdekin Dry Tropics Region and has over 95,000  kilometers  of open land. We got up at 8am that morning in  search  of some open land to just take a hike or have some fun until our trip to the Great Barrier Reef at 2pm. Before we started the day, we went to go get some food at a really good  breakfast place called The Balcony. We decided to sit outside which had great street views.          After finishing breakfast we went out in search of a good open area. We finally found an open park called Charles Moroney Park to play some soccer and race each other. At the park, all of us decided to race to find out the fastest one out of our group. Surprisingly, it ended up being Dylan d

September 18th Ferrari Driving and Brisbane IT tour (Technology)

As we woke up at about 9:00 tired from the last night at the Brisbane Festival. Mason decided to yelp a good place to eat before our Ferrari Driving and IT Tour later in the Day. We took an Uber to the car dealership where we were renting for an hour. After the instructor taught us the rules, we each got into a different color car and pulled out onto the highway. Avery took the lead in the metallic blue car, with the others following right behind him. While Dylan was driving, he ran over a nail and his back left tire popped. It only took Dylan and the tour guide about 10 minutes to change the tire, and he said he would not charge us extra for it. The tour guides in the car showed us around certain areas, and we finished up by stopping at Brisbane IT. Brisbane IT is the leading Information Technology company in the Brisbane Area. The tour guides took the cars back to the dealership as we toured the company. The lady who showed us around the server rooms, the main floor where the prog

We woke up in the morning after sleeping in and we went on a walk a saw the Museum of Brisbane and I suggested that we should go to that later. We went back to the RV and got out cameras and charged or phones. We looked up the times for the museum to see when we could go. We saw it would open at 10 so we cooked up some ramen noodles and then left for the museum. The museum had an ancient Greek mixed with British style feel. We went on the Brisbane City Hall Tour at 10:30am which was such an amazing experience and to Mason's Delight, it was free. We also got a book that I hav e no idea what we did with. Sadly, a few of the rooms were not open to us because they were being used by the government because city hall was still in use. After that amazing adventure, we went to a cool café that Mason had found earlier. It was called the "Ad Infinitum Café". We all got "Buttery French Croissant" for $6.50. We had a bunch of fun because we all showed how we e
